If you’re 18 to 49, here are the facts.
Certain chronic conditions (see table below) may increase the risk of pneumococcal pneumonia—even if the condition is under control. The risk increases with more than one condition.
Taking certain medicines that suppress the immune system may also increase the risk.
Did you know?
You can get pneumococcal pneumonia any time of year, and it can actually worsen certain chronic conditions. So don’t delay. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist today for more information.
Your health conditions may affect your risk for pneumococcal pneumonia.

Other health factors can increase your risk.
Like smoking. Or certain cancers, such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease, generalized malignancy, or multiple myeloma. Radiation and chemotherapy can, too. These health conditions increase your risk for pneumococcal pneumonia compared with adults without these risk factors.
One vaccine. One dose. One visit.
Pfizer is a pioneer in the development of respiratory vaccines and has over a 10-year history of protecting adults against pneumococcal pneumonia.
If you've already been vaccinated with another pneumococcal vaccine like PCV13 or PCV15, ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are eligible for Prevnar 20®.
PCV13=13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine; PCV15=15-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.
